![]() Premier A&P School of the Southwest Since 1968, Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell’s Aviation Maintenance Technology program has been one of the most affordable in the nation. As the only FAA approved Part 147 training program in the state, ENMU-Roswell offers hands-on training in a friendly, student-centered environment. Students train using first-rate equipment, including an MU-2D propjet, a Cessna Twin 421, Bell helicopters and five other laboratory aircraft, as well as, simulators and a wide variety of other laboratory equipment. Internships are also available. Upon completion of the program, students can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology and an Airframe and Powerplant examination eligibility certificate. ENMU-R graduates are readily recruited by employers and can be found in a variety of A&P positions. As a comprehensive community college, ENMU-R offers on-campus housing, 24-hour security, delicious food service, state-of-the-art technology, small class size and very reasonable tuition, even for out-of-state students. Located in southeastern New Mexico, Roswell is a community of approximately 46,000 residents.
